ZIPAIR, Japan’s budget airline, will launch flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Vancouver (Canada) from March 13, 2024.
Flight tickets are already on sale.
“ZIPAIR” is a subsidiary of Japan’s major airline, JAL.
It operates medium and long-haul international flights.
The flight operates three round trips a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Fares start from 1,050 CAD for business class “ZIP Full-Flat”, 300 CAD for normal “Standard”, and 104 CAD for “U6 Standard” for children 6 years old and under.

ZIPAIR is steadily increasing the number of routes it flies, and including this Vancouver route, there are now four routes from Japan to North America.
This is the first budget air flight from Japan to Canada.
By the way, Budget Air is called “LCC” in Japan.
This is an abbreviation for low cost carrier.
