Good value for money way to get from Narita Airport to central Tokyo

It’s a bus.

Do you know?
Narita Airport is described as an airport in Tokyo, but it is actually located in Chiba Prefecture, a neighboring prefecture.
Therefore, it is quite far from central Tokyo.

There is a long-distance bus called “AIRPORT BUS” from Narita Airport, which will take you to Tokyo Station and Ginza Station without changing trains.

The fare is 1,300 JPY〜.
The time it takes 65 minutes.

If you are going to use the train, I do not recommend using the local train.
It takes over an hour and 30 minutes to get to Tokyo Station, and it’s crowded, so you probably won’t be able to get a seat.
It’s very tiring.

Although it is more expensive, I recommend the “Narita Express” train.
The Narita Express has all reserved seats and you can go to Tokyo Station, Shinjuku Station, or Shibuya Station without changing trains.
The time required to reach Tokyo Station is 50 minutes, and the fare is 3,070 JPY *One-way fare + reserved seat.

There is also a similar limited express train called the “Keisei Skyliner Express“, but this only goes to Nippori Station and Ueno Station, so if you are going to Tokyo Station, you will need to change trains.
The time required to reach Ueno Station is 41 minutes, and the fare is 2,570 JPY *One-way fare + reserved seat.

Narita Airport is far away from Tokyo, and Haneda Airport, which is also in Tokyo, is much more convenient to access.
